Magdalena Bay Spearfishing

Baja Sur, Mexico

The remote Magdalena Bay is located approximately 160nm north of Cabo San Lucas. During the fall months the sardine run shows up en mass, and it is on! All the predators we want congregate on the offshore banks and bait balls erupt with feeding frenzies of pelagic fish- it’s a dream destination for anglers and spearfishers. The main target will be wahoo, yellowtail, dorado and yellowfin tuna, but we’ll mix in some grouper spots and you will definitely run into a striped marlin or two.

We’ll be aboard a 60-foot sportfisher with tender and an experienced crew who understand spearfishing.

Includes 6 days of diving with professional guiding, all meals, round trip transportation from Los Cabos airport (SJD) to the yacht.

Exclusions: airfare to Los Cabos, alcoholic beverages (we’ll stop along the way to pick up beer/wine/spirits), crew gratuity.
This is a weather dependent itineray and trip insurance is suggested.
*RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS: A $1000 semi-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space. Semi-refundable means the initial deposit will be refunded, minus the service fee, once the cancelled spot has been reserved by a new guest. If the cancelled spot cannot be filled by a new guest the deposit will be forfeited. Second payment ($2000) is due May 10, 2026. Final payment ($1500) is due 90 days prior to the trip (~July 10, 2026). Airfare booked by Flying Fish Adventures must be paid upon flight reservation. Price is based on double occupancy and is subject to change. Reservations and payments will be forfeited if full payment is not received according to the schedule. Flying Fish Adventures is stoked to bring another opportunity to chase pelagics offshore in San Diego. We’ve added a 1.5 day charter during prime fishing time. Looking to catch a bluefin tuna, California yellowtail, dorado or yellowfin tuna?  This trip is the one to be on! We are running a limited passenger load on this trip to enhance your fishing experience.
 
San Diego is one of the top offshore fishing destinations in the world. During August the offshore fishing can be epic. The pelagics have migrated off the coast by this time and you can expect to catch bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, California yellowtail and Dorado. This is prime time!
 

Our private charter is aboard a 65-foot sportfishing boat with one of the best crews in the San Diego fleet. Trip is limited to 18 anglers

Board at 9pm on Aug 29. Disembark at 5am on August 31.

Includes 1.5 days of fishing, all meals, and Mexican permits.

Exclusions: California fishing license, fishing gear, alcohol & crew gratuity.
 
 
*RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS: A $400 semi-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space. Semi-refundable means the initial deposit will be refunded, minus the service fee, once the cancelled spot has been reserved by a new guest. If the cancelled spot cannot be filled by a new guest the deposit will be forfeited. Final payment ($400) is due 30 days prior to the trip (July 29, 2026). Reservations and payments will be forfeited if full payment is not received according to the schedule. No refunds can be made after July 29, 2026. For cancellations inside of 30 days, deposits and final payments will be forfeited, and no refund or credit will be issued. If a cancelled package is resold by Flying Fish Adventures, then a full refund will be sent minus a $150 per person processing fee. In the case of cancellation by the client, both deposit and final payment may be transferred to another guest or angler for those same (original) dates if facilitated and arranged by the client. Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the deposit, cancellation, refund and responsibility clauses for these packages. Worldwide Diving Adventures (WDA), dBA Flying Fish Adventures, participates in the California Seller of Travel Program. Upon cancellation of the transportation or travel services, all sums paid to WDA for services not provided to the passenger, will be promptly paid to the passenger, when the passenger is not at fault and had not canceled in violation of any terms previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed to and agreed to by the passenger, and unless the passenger otherwise advises the seller of travel in writing, upon cancellation.
 
WDA, through the California Seller of Travel Program, also participates in the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF). Passengers have a right to make a claim on the fund. The Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation (TCRC) was created to decide claims made against the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund, which serves consumers located in California who suffer losses as a result of the bankruptcy, cessation of operations, insolvency, or material failure of a seller of travel to provide the transportation or travel services contracted.
